Project Controls and Management Services

Based on the experience of QPMC’s senior management in the field of Project Controls and General Management of Construction Companies/Projects, we can provide a wide range of professional services in the context of Cost Control, Planning, Progress Monitoring, Quantity Surveying, and Documents Management. Those services were designed to fit into a large variety of organizational structures, and can be tailored further as needed based on the requirements and budget of our Clients.

Most of our services listed below can be offered and applied on either the Company level and/or any Project level depending on the necessity.

  1. Cost Management
  • Design, develop and/or physically implement a robust Cost Management system & all related procedures.
  • Restructure an existing cost management system to fit a revised functional requirement or organizational restructuring, and/or support in historical records management and updates.
  • Provide and/or implement solutions for mapping existing Financial and Cost Breakdown Structures, and support in the corresponding adjustments to financial and cost reports.
  1. Time & Progress Management
  • Develop Projects Master Schedules, and support or manage the process of schedules revisions/approvals.
  • Design, develop and/or physically implement a detailed Progress Management system, with all related progress data collection, progress updates, and KPIs reporting and managements based on the Client’s required frequency and level of details.
  1. Quantity Surveying
  • Develop the master Bill of Quantities for new or existing project, and/or manage the BOQ updates based on revised designs and variation orders.
  • Provide QS support to Projects based on the necessity, either for partial project scope and/or disciplines.
  • Provide QS support for variation orders management and pricing.
  1. Project Controls Systems Development

One of the major challenges which face Construction Companies/Projects is the development of fully integrated Project Controls systems which can easily support each other for on-time and on-budget achievement of targets and goals.

Our team have manged or supported in the development of Integrated Project Controls systems for several top-level Construction Companies, and thus we can offer our Clients the support to:

  • Develop or restructure and existing Cost Management system in order to integrate its data with other functions such as Planning, Progress Monitoring, or Change Management. Cost systems development can vary from few changes to the existing Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and Cost Monitoring System, or up to the full restructuring of cost procedures and systems.
  • Develop an automated mapping system between the Planning’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for the integration of various Progress data to achieve verifiable reporting and invoicing functions.
  • Develop and/or operate a documents management system which can support the timely planning and management of Project’s documentation. Such service can be established either by utilizing existing Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), adopting another EDMS available in the market, or develop an in-house system for the maximum achievement of the requirements of the project and/or the company’s team.
  1. Project Management Staff Support

Finally, in cases where our Clients are short in Project Management Staff, we can provide the necessary support by deploying our team to the Client’s company/project to be under their direct management, whether physically or remotely. The deployed staff can be with the Project Management experience and seniority level that suits the required resource utilization plans, and such service will be provided with competitive rates either weekly or monthly based on the requirements.
